Handling equipment and chemicals
- Employees should take great care when handling machinery, equipment and chemicals.
- Pay special attention to the manufacturer’s instructions and to the training you have been given.
- Always wear the recommended Personal Protective Equipment.
- Any malfunctioning or problems must be reported immediately.
- Never put a chemical in any container other than the one in which it was received.
- Never handle machinery, equipment or chemicals unless you are authorized and trained to do so.
