Health Insurance
The Employee and, if on family contract, the Employee’s family, shall be entitled to participate in the Company’s private health insurance scheme subject to:
- the terms of that scheme, as amended from time to time;
- the rules or insurance policy of the relevant insurance provider, as amended from time to time; and
- The Employee and the Employee’s family satisfying the normal underwriting requirements of the relevant insurance provider and the premium being at a rate which the Company considers reasonable.
- Subject to the minimum requirements of health insurance required by law:
- if the insurance provider refuses for any reason to provide private health insurance benefit to the Employee or to the Employee’s family, the Company shall not be liable to provide any replacement benefit of the same or similar kind or to pay any compensation in lieu of such benefit; and
- The Company in its sole and absolute discretion reserves the right to discontinue, vary or amend the scheme (including the level of the Employee’s cover) at any time on reasonable notice to the Employee.
- Employee’s family (Spouse + 3 Children) should be under the direct sponsorship of the employee and the employee is hired on a family (not a single) contract.
