Maternity Leave
Maternity Leave granted will be paid in accordance with the United Arab Emirates Labor Law to the following Employees:
- Employees under the sponsorship of their husband and on Manzil Home Health Services work permits.
- Employees under the sponsorship of the Manzil Home Health Services and who reside locally with their husband.
Female Employees will be entitled to maternity leave of (60) sixty days, according to the following:
- The first forty-five (45) days with full pay.
- The following fifteen (15) days with half pay.
If the service period is less than one year the maternity leave period will be at half pay.
On completion of maternity leave, a female Employee may be absent from work without pay for a period not exceeding forty-five (45) consecutive or intermittent days, if such absence is due to an illness preventing her from resuming work if confirmed by a medical certificate issued by authorized medical practitioner confirming that the illness was caused by the pregnancy or delivery.
