The Climate
The climate of the U.A.E. is very hot and humid for about five months in summer from May to September. Temperatures are usually in the low 40oCs but may sometimes reach 50oC. The summer months are very humid in coastal regions. Air-conditioned houses, offices, shops and cars offer virtually non-stop relief from the heat. The days are warm and the nights are cool. Rainfall is infrequent; falling mainly in the winter. The U.A.E is geologically stable and well sheltered within the Arabian Gulf. It does not suffer from major natural disasters like earthquakes or typhoons.
