Use of the Internet

Manzil Home Health Services provides access to the vast information resources of the internet to help employees perform their work in an efficient and effective manner. Manzil Home Health Services’ Facilities that provide access to the internet represent a considerable commitment of resources for telecommunications, networking, software, storage, etc. Manzil Home Health Services computing and network resources are provided for Manzil Home Health Services employees for official Manzil Home Health Services business activities only, with the exception of incidental personal use outlined in Section VI of this policy.

All existing Manzil Home Health Services personnel policies apply to employee conduct on the internet, especially (but not exclusively) those that deal with employee performance, personal conduct, intellectual property protection, privacy, misuse of Manzil Home Health Services resources, sexual harassment, information and data security, and confidentiality. Employees must conduct themselves honestly and appropriately on the internet, and respect the copyrights, software licensing rules, property rights, privacy, and prerogatives of others. Unlawful or inappropriate internet usage may garner negative publicity for Manzil Home Health Services and expose Manzil Home Health Services to significant legal liabilities.
